Kemmel is a sweet village at the foot of the Kemmelberg, a hill which with 156 m is the highest spot of West Flanders. Just outside the village centre, hostess Katrien welcomes you in her B&B ‘De Verborgen Stilte’, where you can enjoy a magnificent view of the green hills and fields.
This guesthouse is the ideal base to explore the area either on foot or on a bike. On and around the Kemmelberg, signposted walks take you through the woods, in the fields or past the vineyards on the Monteberg. Cyclists can put their pedal power to a true test on and around the Westhoek climbs of the famous Westhoek hills (Rode Berg, Zwarte Berg, Catsberg, Vidaigneberg...).
In the evening, just relax in the cosy Bed & Breakfast. You can warm yourself by the fire on the big terrace whilst reading a book or enjoying a glass of wine. The very hills you conquered that day, are now the backdrop for a lovely evening.
After a good night’s sleep – since you are staying at the end of a cul-de-sac – you will be served a hearty, fresh breakfast to provide you with the energy for another enjoyable day in picture perfect Heuvelland.
Staying in Kemmel = the perfect combination of action and relaxation
